Tool failed quickly and the warranty sucks

"Plier jaws exploded because of what's clearly a manufacturing defect and they force me to pay out of pocket and ship it off to even get a set of eyes on it. Love the idea of this tool but it does not live up to standard of drop shipped multi tools at a quarter of the price. I used to really be a fan of Leatherman and was ready to take a chance on this oddball little tool, but I really don't think I'm going to ever purchase a Leatherman tool again."

Overall good pocket multitool.

"I wanted a smaller profile knife to carry in my pocket. I found this multitool that allowed for additional utility but kept the same profile as a compact knife. The screwdriver bits have come in handy when needed. Only con I've found so far is I wish the thumb hole was a bit bigger for larger hands to open/close the blade easier. Maybe change it for a stud instead."

Fantastic. Needs no other tools

"Light and compact, this tool is perfect. I was hesitant EDC with a multi-tool because I didn't need to lug around 37 knives, a 2 inch tree saw and a junk pair of scissors. I just wanted a knive, pliers and drive set. Skeletool is the only EDC I'll ever buy again. They may become Christmas gifts for my factory floor workers. Everyone loves this multi-tool."

Loved the three CX's, but custom shop engraving was meh

"Owned and used LM CX's for years. This was a batch purchase of three in different colors plus a nice LM pocket knife as gifts for sons and a 10-year-okd great-grandson. As usual from LM, the material, fit and finish were all top notch on every tool. Unfortunately, the custom shop's laser engraving on the blades was a disappointment and almost got you three stars instead of four. I expected a deeper "cut" (if that's the right word for automated laser work). The lettering was clean and well done, but so shallow I thought at first it was painted on the surface, so much so that it was a little difficult to read in certain lighting conditions. I don't expect the "engraving" to be legible for very long if these tools actually get used, and if I know my boys they will. So If that's the best I can expect to see from LM's "Custom" shop I won't order engraving again. Sorry, but you did ask for my opinion."

"Shipping was super fast. We had 2 custom skelatools engraved. The engraving turned out exactly as the mock up we made online. We purchased these leather and for our 9 year wedding anniversary which, traditionally the gift is "leather" so we had a play on words. This till will help us with camping and fixing things"
