Snapped while in my pocket

"Love the pocket clip but have had 2 now that have caught on something while in my pocket and snapped the little tab off that locks it in place in the tool. If it wasn't such brittle metal one could just bend it back straight as I have done with many other brands clips, but this one seems made to fail. Would not recommend."

Too loose

"I use it with the Wave Alpha, but every time I use the tool, I want to take the clip off because it ruins the ergonomics of the g10 scales. The clip comes off easily, but it wiggles a lot in the tool. Looks fine, but is uncomfortable, not worth 15 bucks, but is needed for pocket carry. Wish it was included so that I didn’t have to spend more money to use an already expensive tool. Can’t believe the price for a bent piece of steel."

Great no nonsense clip

"Sturdy clip that is easy on and easy off for when I want to go between sheath and pocket carry for the wave alpha. Is snug and deep in the pocket and doesn't tear up material. Would recommend leatherman to make an exact fit sheath for the wave alpha as the ones currently sold or either slightly too small or slightly too big. Had to get a custom 3d printed one that also works with the pocket clip. Wave alpha is unique size of its own."

Nice belt clip for Wave Plus

"I received my Wave Plus, pouch, and clip a few weeks ago. I’ve carried it some and used it a few times. It’s well built with all the features I want. So far it’s a little stiff but I expect it to loosen up with use. Pouch and clip are both well made. Clip was easy to install and seems to hold the tool in place."

Doesn’t fit like the original

"This doesn’t seem to sit flush with my charge+ to. The lining of my pocket fits between the lip of the Leatherman and the top of the clip and gets stuck as I try and pull it up. The original I could pull out as smooth as any other pocket knife. Now it takes effort and moving to slide it up."

"The clip fits securely, but there is a LOT of wiggle. The bottom end of the clip will swing the entire width of one of the scales when attached. It'll probably be OK, but It would be nice if the fit were tighter."

Good clip, moves a little.

"Most of what I read about the leatherman clip was that it moves a little. It does. It is not a problem for me, when the Wave Alpha that my clip is installed on is in my pocket it is out of the way but easy to reach. I guess some people fidget with it? Nowadays you’d think that would be a bonus."

"Nice to have a pocket clip. Bummer that you have to buy it separately in the first place, and I wish that the fit was better. That being said, I do really like the ease of use and the ability to quickly detach the clip when you want it off the tool"
